Inpatient care
Up-to-date data on antibiotic resistance, guidelines for antimicrobial therapy and the general principles promote the appropriate prescribing of antibiotics. To provide further support, prescribing restrictions (e.g. for Reserve group antibiotics) and resistance reporting (‘selective reporting’) should be implemented.
