ASAP is the national platform for the responsible use of antibiotics in outpatient care in Switzerland. It brings together professional societies, public authorities, surveillance and research bodies, and members of the public to jointly further develop antibiotic stewardship in the outpatient sector and thus help to curb antibiotic resistance. ASAP is based at the College of General Practice (KHM).
Through ASAP+, three citizen partners bring the public’s perspective to the work of ASAP. They take part in the meetings of the Scientific Advisory Board, help to design and review materials, and develop their own projects for the general public.
The Scientific Advisory Board provides ASAP with technical and strategic guidance. For more information, see Governance and Strategy.
