Under this year’s theme ‘One Health, one action: Prevent AMR now’, this awareness week in Switzerland is being supported by the Strategy on Antibiotic Resistance (StAR) through a range of activities and initiatives. Particular emphasis is placed on raising public awareness, promoting good practice and further developing innovative approaches. The list of activities in Switzerland is published here. Information and promotional materials are also available to support the awareness-raising initiatives in November.

The new SARR, due to be published on 17 November 2026, presents up-to-date data on antibiotic resistance and antibiotic use in Switzerland, based on a One Health approach. The webinar, taking place from 12.30 pm to 2.00 pm, will present the key findings. Please bring your questions! Register here.

The ImpProGUIDE study investigated the effectiveness of an implementation strategy for new guidelines on the treatment of acute respiratory infections within the framework of quality circles in French-speaking Switzerland. This symposium will present the preliminary findings of the study to the study participants and anyone else who is interested. Register here.
